Well...PLIP finally made it onto the blog-o-sphere. Time to put down the etch-a-sketch and start typing on this puter thingy. So, what the hell do I type about now? I can tell you all the cool stuff I am doing currently..let's see. Well, contemplating getting off my butt and taking a shower being it's almost noon but I have too many PEBKAC's to deal with. I am trying to fix up my new (old) house day by day but with Christmas around the corner it's more like visualizing fixing up my new (old) house. You know when you say "I want to get new kitchen cabinets", and then it goes to "maybe just putting some new cabinet faces on would do the trick" and then it is "perhaps painting the cabinets would be nice", and then you just settle with "you know, hot pink cabinets are bound to come back around maybe I should just leave em as is...".
I survived Black Friday only because I did not venture to the pit of despair known as Walmart. It's funny, we have a day of Thanksgiving were we are thankful and humble for the things that we have like family, health, a roof over our heads, and then we turn around the next day and turn into capitalist zombies willing to trample your fellow man for 10 bucks off a VCR. Something just doesn's seem right about all that, but if you are reading this blog then you are already at a heightened state of knowledge and you have been chuckling about this to yourself for years now. "Oh, smashing, groovy, yay capitalism!"
So I sit here and ask myself will anyone be reading this? Probably not, but in case you are, and don't want me to seem pathetic I will pose a question for you to post back. And if you read this and don't post back...well that is just wrong. It's like sucker punching an old lady for her pearls, or beating a kitten with a wrench. And you don't want to be labeled as someone that beats kittens with wrenches do you? Then post back...simple. Alright, the question is...If an ambulance is on its way to save someone, and it runs someone over, does it stop to help them?
OK, that's all I got for this 1st post...but I leave you with (as John Stewart calls it) your moment of Zen...
